How to find OSM db full documentation and tables descriptions?

Hi everyone! I'm successfully working with Nominatim API. But it's hard for me to find any information about your database. I have 784 tables (country_name, location_area, import_status...) and no info about how to use it. I want to find the old names of cities in Ukraine. How should I write this query?
