Drohobych, Ukraine listed as New York

0

I did a query using a search engine that relies on OSM data. I saw an odd result. Their tech support said,

Someone has defined a neighbourhood or suburb in OpenStreetMap as "New York", see: https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/details.php?osmtype=N&osmid=3048084691&class=place whether that is correct or not I could not say, I have no local knowledge. If you have local knowledge and believe it is incorrect feel free to edit in OSM.

I believe this is a mistake. But I'm not an authority and I wouldn't know how to fix it.

There's a link in https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/details.php?osmtype=N&osmid=3048084691&class=place to "OSM". That goes to https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3048084691 . If you click the history button https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3048084691/history and scroll down you can see that it was added 6 years ago in https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/25082403 . The user who made that change is still mapping, so if you comment on that changeset explaining the problem it's likely that they'll reply.
