Problem: highway=pedestrian not shown on map www.openstreetmap.org. Therefor I change them to highway=path. Usually market-places are allowed for delivery vehicles only, till 10 am. What kind of street shoud I choose. https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Pedestrian – Pedestrian roads in shopping and residential areas

  • In description for Germany is living street = Verkehrsberuhigter Bereich = Spielstraße only with traffic_sign=DE:325

The pedestrian area is visible for me. It is rendered in a slight bluish grey. The pedestrian way across it is not visible since it is rendered in the same color. Not sure if I understood your problem, though.

Thank you for "same color", I understand. Background: Often I have problems with the routing in www.komoot.de. In the example from Oststraße to Südstraße with bike (cycle) or hiking. (komoot "off-grid" also errors).

Pedestrian ways should show. See e.g. this one. Perhaps something else was wrong. Can you send a link to an example you changed?
