I can't delete an old logging road that has been completely reclaimed. It says "This feature cannot be deleted because not enough of it is currently visible". And if I zoom out to see the whole road it says "Zoom in to edit"

How to delete the road?

There are typically two options for this:

  • Split the road into smaller pieces and delete those. (also useful if you have only been able to confirm that one end of a road is gone)
  • Use another editor like JOSM that can deal with much larger areas.

didn't realize you had to click on a node to split the road

WORKAROUND: I resized the browser window to be 2x larger than my monitor and I managed to delete the road.
