When I am viewing a map, there are often times trees and other points that are marked that clutter the view. Is there a way to turn off the display of that layer or those points?

What map view or software are you using?

I am using Chrome as the browser and in OpenStreet.org I am using the Edit drop down and selecting "Edit with Id (in-browser editor)

In iD there are some pre-set filters that you can use:

  1. Expand the Map data panel using the second button in the second group of buttons on the right hand side of the map area.
  2. Expand the "Map Features" list.
  3. Deselect categories you don't want to see.

Try to remember not to re-add things you have hidden.
