Determine nominatim db size prior to import

Hello

I just got started with setting up nominatim and everything works fine. I started with a smaller data sample of a like 200mb.

The problem is, that the database is allready pretty big (around 13GB). How much space would the import for whole Germany take? It is 3.1 GB (https://download.geofabrik.de/europe.html).

Appreciate the help!

0	Imported places for Germany is about 10% of those of the whole OSM planet (Germany is very well mapped). So my estimation is 90-120GB. permanent link answered 22 Jun '20, 11:22 mtmail 4.8k●15●74 accept rate: 27%
