What if OpenStreetMap/Cam partnered with ridesharing companies in order to source image data for OpenStreetCam? From the OSM wiki, I see that a few companies use OSM internally, and some are even partners. What if they provided their top drivers with 360° cameras like the ones Google recommends for Street View contributors? Since OSM is a foundation, I assume the companies could write off the cost as a donation.

OpenStreetCam isn't affiliated with OpenStreetMap (despite the similarity in names) - it's a private project run by Grab, who, coincidentally, are a ride-sharing company! So it's probably best addressing your suggestion directly to them.

Interesting - I saw the © OpenStreetMap at the bottom of their page and just assumed it was the same group. Is there collaboration?

The map on their home page is made with OpenStreetMap Data.
