Hi I'm a newbie to OSM, having come here looking for accurate boundaries to all of the UK's national parks, I find that of all of them, just Snowdonia's is way out. How might I convince someone to correct it - or - what resource might I use to do the job myself? thanks Abermapper

While we strive for accuracy we can never guarantee it. The wiki page for National Parks in the United kingdom notes that the boundary of Snowdonia is "complete, but most of the boundary is tentative".

Other parks list OS OpenData as a source, so that might be a potential source for this park, but see caveats and notes on the relevant wiki page before any imports, especially with respect to contacting the local community. IIRC there's some weirdness about licensing on OS stuff, but I've never had to get into the details. Of course if the boundary is marked and you can surveyed it yourself this is always welcome in OSM.

As the boundary exists as a fairly large relation, software leaning toward the "heavy duty" end of thing would probably be recommended (such as JOSM). Relations of this size can be quite difficult to manage despite being conceptually simple.
