I pressed buttons and now the UI is bigger

One Answer:

The browser is probably zoomed in. There should be a zoom setting visible in a menu (varies depending on the browser). Put it back to 100%.

I think pressing Ctrl and 0 together (or Command and 0 on a mac) should also reset it.
