When looking on any of the layers around here https://osm.org/go/ZIH0CdHq--?layers=D it looks pretty messy.
I am not sure if I understan what is going on in this area.

What is it that is troubling you?

The blue lines you see there are the coastlines of the Bahamas. Someone edited them a couple of days ago. Underlying is the rendered map. The coastlines of the map are only updated irregularly. That's why you see the map and the coastline objects out of sync.
