Background layer options missing?

I installed and used JOSM with great pleasure, especially the BING background map.

After i closed JOSM and relaunched the application, all my choices of background maps (i think I had 4 yesterday) are gone, the menu is simply without any options?

Try Edit->Preferences (or F12) -> green field with "WMS TMS" on it (from left column) -> if the lower list is empty choose from the upper list and hit Activate.

Put it on the map through Imagery item in menu.

If it is not there at all click the + symbol and use "bing:bing" as url.
