Hi everyone,

I am a new OSM user, and I am using it for a 3D render of a part of London. In order to so, I am using a grasshopper plugin, called Elk. Since the part of the city, I am interested in, did not include the OSM data of the 3D buildings I was after, I am now manually recreating an approximate 3D model, referring to other sources found online.

I was wondering if it could be the case for me to update (whether it is possible) those 3D models on OSM?

Best, Flavio

If all of your sources were released under a compatible license and you know your model to be accurate, then in theory you could use them to update the 3D building related tags. But I suspect that from the way you have phrased the question that this isn't the case?

I understand. Yes, accuracy, in this case, is something that I did not take in account at all. Thanks for the useful link.
