I am working on a mapping project where I have to show my city map which is Dhaka city in Bangladesh. Please help me to load OpenStreetMap on my pc in the localhost and how can I edit the map and update it in the localhost. I don't need to update the global map. I just need to edit the map locally. Thanks in advance.

Using JOSM, the normal process is :

  1. Download data for your area of interest
  2. Edit this data locally
  3. Upload changes

You can just replace the last step by saving the data locally, for future offline use.
