We have an airstrip in the middle of town which was closed many years ago as part of the drug prohibition wars. The airstrip still exists and is listed as MX-0428 on ourairports.com. I currently have this mapped as aeroway=aerodrome. Since there is virtually no likelihood that this will ever be used as an airstrip again I think that this classification is inappropriate. Perhaps use the lifecycle prefix tagging. Change the aeroway= to disused:aeroway= or abandoned:aeroway=* answered 02 Jan '20, 16:39  n76 |
