The street shown as Hakea PA in Canning Vale, Western Australia is incorrectly named. It should be Hakea Plaza (PL?). How do I correct this?

Looks like you've already figured it out!

One thing to mention though - normally street names are stored as full names in OSM, so if the full name is "Hakea Plaza" that's what you'd set the name to, rather than "Hakea PL" - you'll notice that adjacent streets have "Grove", "Road", "Court" etc.

for the record: names are generally stored in the "name"-tag in OSM. Simply adjust the value for "name" and you corrected the street name.

You can file a bug in Openstreetbugs and hope someone corrects it, or you can correct it yourself, by registering to Openstreetmap, and editing the map.
