Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

I have tagged an item with the url tagged url=http://www.info@somesite.com and am receiving the error listed in the above title.

Can anyone advise me of the problem please.

The url is strange. The @ used to be used to indicate a username/password on the website but that has been abandoned because people used it poorly (exposing passwords and such).

Check and see if the url you have entered is the official url for the website you mean to list.

Why didn't I see that? The problem was the @. Removed and now fixed, thanks
