I'm trying to put the right tags on a business so that it'll show up in OSM map data. The business is Go Strapped Firearms Training and they specialize in LTC licensing. I know I put it in, probably, last year. However, no matter how much tag information I try to put in, it never shows up in MAPS.ME. Is it me or is there just not enough tag options for it to be identified? Here's where it's located: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/32.71171/-97.15914

Maps Me will have chosen what to render on their map. The business is probably not that common in Europe. Maybe talking with Maps Me will give better advice. Training establishments may have a better chance of being rendered.

I agree that you need to add some appropriate tags. The node is here and the only "top level tag" it has is "landuse". At the very least I'd add a tag like "office", "shop" or similar (whatever is best for this establishment).

The tagging mailing list is where most of the people who revel in this sort of "how to tag" discussion are, so I'd perhaps ask there.

Another thing is that even were you to add descriptive tags, perhaps

amenity=training

the business still might not show up. Which particular objects display (are rendered), on any given map is completely up to the designers of the application you're using.
