Sorry if this is the wrong place to "ask".

A few months back (before I started mapping) I went on a vacation in Sweden. While taking a hike, we came across a military exercise area (all the photos I have on it here).

Looking back I noticed that this is not mapped in osm. Additionally I'm having a hard time finding information on it with my non existent swedish knowledge.

Location that I'm talking about.

The danger area is in the "official" maps from Lantmäteriet: https://kso.etjanster.lantmateriet.se/?e=485475&n=7011995&z=9&profile=default_background_noauth, which means it is probably also available in their open data. However, I can't find it at the armed forces' listing of danger areas at https://www.forsvarsmakten.se/sv/aktuellt/viktiga-meddelanden/skjutfalt-och-avlysningar/, which might indicate that it is no longer in use.

Not saying you are wrong, but there was also a list with what looked like exercise events next to the map. They were all scheduled in September.

@turepalsson: the area does not show on the map on the försvarsmakten site but it is listed further down: "DAGSÅDALENS SKJUTFÄLT - ÖSTERSUND (I 19)" including a map.

@TZorn: Ah, well spotted! Oh well, I'll leave it to someone more local to import the data from LMV, unless I get really bored some weekend. =)
