I need to get walking tracks from OSM (such as are identified on https://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org/) that I can edit in the standard way in Google Earth. For instance name=Hanseatenweg. I can export these tracks nicely as kml files, and they load and display properly in Google Earth. But when I try to edit them in Google Earth I get the message "Edit limited to part of Multi Geometry collection. You are trying to edit a collection of geometry items. Only editing of the first item will be possible."

Is there any way that I can export a track from OSM as a kml in a way that the whole of it can be edited?

All help gratefully appreciated.

Does exporting/importing as GPX work?
