Im wondering about using vector tiles instead of raster tiles

Whats the difference when it comes to storage?

What are the benefits of it?

It would help to explain in a bit more detail what you mean by "canvas tiles" here, and also what other parts you've already deployed.

It isn't clear from the question whether you're talking about a mobile app, a web site, or something else entirely.
