Hi, did anyone try to import the free available Post Address Geodataset? Would love to see all the housenumbers for Switzerland in OSM

General remark: spending a second googling before asking a question here would save everybody a lot of time.

In any case the georeferenced SwissPost dataset is neither free nor open and any further discussion of it is a waste of bits.

We do have address data available from a number of cantons and the federal GWR dataset. For example we have nearly completed an import of the address data of the Canton Berne.

And yes the GWR data is well known given we just spent a couple of years lobbying for it to be freed up.

Strange I was able to access the whole Post Database via the API the Swiss Post offers (and the Post states on their Web page it is free, though there is no license information ).

Another interesting but limited Data source is also the Admin Geo Service:https://data.geo.admin.ch/ch.bfs.gebaeude_wohnungs_register/
