I understand that D-RATS chat program uses OSM tiles, it will not fetch tiles for the last 2 weeks. I am curious as to what I can do or someone here could do to help solve this issue. I am willing to help as much as I know how, I am not very capable at code but willing to try if I receive guidance. Thanks AL M KF5SMH

You need to contact the D-RATS developers. The issue is most likely that their application is violating the terms of use for the OSMF tile servers https://operations.osmfoundation.org/policies/tiles/

Certain aspects of the policy are now (starting roughly two weeks back) being enforced more strictly than before.

Ok well that is going to be a bit of a problem, the original developer is no longer involved. No one has yet to pick up where he left off and the program has not been updated in quite some time (04-17-2014 last version update) So we are in a bit of a quandary here. This is a popular app for amateur radio operators and we sure could use some help. Thanks AL M KF5SMH

Well if you can build the app (assuming it is OSS, a link to the code repository would be helpful) then you need to determine what user agent string it is sending, likely it is something generic, and then change it to something app specific.
