How do I take a place off the map that I just put on? It is in the wrong place

1

I was at a funeral at a place I couldn't find on any map. So I decided to place it using maps.me but couldn't find the category. I finished at home and the chapel ended up at home! I need to delete it and start again.

I don't think you can delete things with MAPS.ME but if you zoom in to the place on https://openstreetmap.org and click "edit" you'll be able to remove it there. If that doesn't work you can either post the URL here or (if you don't want to make it public) email data@osmfoundation.org about the problem and we'll be able to help.

You could add a note to the map but that could highlight your home. Otherwise read the OSM beginners guide and delete it yourself.
