Why my POI is not searchable?

Hi there,

I contributed the map with a drinking water fountain (amenity=drinking-water; changeset #: 70724897). The relevant icon is displayed onto the map, but if a start a search for drinking water in the zone the relevant search result does not show up.

Am I missing something?

Thanks to y'all.

What are you using to search? Are you typing in "drinking water" on www.openstreetmap.org? That does not work, since you can only search for names on that site.

There are other maps like OpenPOIMap where you could do that. Your node is found there if you search for a user POI "amenity=drinking_water".
