Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

I know the J key command in Potlatch2 to join two overlapping nodes belonging to two different paths, creating an intersection.

But is there something like a split or unjoin command as well to do the opposite without affecting the involved paths otherwise?
