Overpass API multiple parallel calls

I have installed the openstreetmap on my own server. Despite the fact that I am using my own server and spark to make distributed calls , the OSM is still slow since I am calling the API on a large amount of data. I just wanted to know if there is another service/way for batch/bulk/distrubuted calls.
