Which mobile app? The update interval depends on the specific mobile app you are using. OsmAnd? MAPS.ME?

I means MAPS.ME

Are you looking for a way to edit the map on a mobile device?

Some rudimentary mapping like adding POIs can for example be done with maps.me. Much more advanced is Vespucci.

Or have a look at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Editors.

edit:

Or is your question at what point in time you are able to see your changes on the map in maps.me?

Maps.me updates its maps generally with each new release of the app (every couple of weeks). Before any changes become visible to you you have to wait for the app and then the maps to update. Make sure that you are logged in with your OSM account in maps.me, otherwiese all changes stay locally on your phone and never get included in the map.
