Cannot export into image, getting message that says "Only the standard layer can be exported as an image"

I'm trying to export a region into a PNG but I get the message "Only the standard layer can be exported as an image" but the thing is I have standard layer selected. This started happening the first time I opened OSM today, last night it was working fine.
