There is an error on your naming of the road I live on. Also satellite navigation systems take people to the wrong place. How do I go about getting this corrected?

If you zoom in at https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=18/53.99208/-0.90684 and click edit you'll be taken to OSM's online editor, so you may be able to fix it yourself. https://www.openstreetmap.org/fixthemap has more information on that. Alternatively, if you can explain what's wrong here, someone else might be able to fix it (I cycled past the end of that road on Sunday and have some familiarity with the area).

The most southerly end of Burton Fields Road is incorrectly named Burton Fields Close. I have edited it on Open Street Map but when I log out, the original map still shows the incorrect name. Is there a long delay before the changes I've made will show up?

You've made the change correctly - the rendered maps that you see (on the openstreetmap site and elsewhere) will take a little while to update, and any caches between you and OpenStreetMap can affect that too. For example I just looked at https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/53.99056/-0.90420 and saw the wrong name, but a refresh of the page in the browser caused the correct name to appear. Other maps might take longer - https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/53.99056/-0.90555&layers=C gets updated about once a week, I think.

There are more detailed explanations elsewhere of the update process, such as https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/178/how-often-does-the-main-mapnik-map-get-updated .
