Hi I've been getting good at roads and road speeds with the online editor However, I'm seeing lots of housing estates incorrectly tagged as suburbs, which is contaminating reverse geo coding results I cannot see how to change this on the online editor so I can draw a boundary around these estates, do I need to use josm instead? Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

It would help to have more detail. Whereabouts is the area concerned? I'm assuming possibly UK or Ireland from term "housing estates". Are you using Nominatim? Why do you assume that suburb is the wrong tag?

Thanks for the reply, its nairobi take this example https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/reverse.php?format=json&lat=-1.36882&lon=36.74168&zoom=18&extratags=1&addressdetails=1%22, you will see "suburb":"Mbagathi Greens Estate", however that housing estate is a quite far away https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/details.php?place_id=63782673 - this estate has been tagged as a suburb

Your first URL shows suburb Karen and your second one links to an invalid place id. I'm not sure how stable Nominatim's place IDs are. Can you provide a link to the wrong OSM object?
