Im tried to install in Ubuntu and it gave me installation errors at the end and I can not work. I had tested with the method of installation of the probe http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Gosmore and also with synaptic. If someone could help me who had the same problem in the installation of Gosmore, giving the installation steps and need to make it work. |

It is hard to help you without knowing what problems you have. It would be helpful if you mentioned where in the installation you get errors and what errors you get. At current there are no known problems with installing gosmore on Ubuntu. Either compiling like on the wiki or installing from apt. If you compile you can get a number of warnings, this is normal when compiling any program. What might be confusing to first time users is that you have to update the map. It will download a .pak file witch is the OSM data itself. Without this data the program is almost useless. All of this is covered in the wiki. |

resolved!!! the problem had been attempting to install with synaptic. Uninstalling and re-installed with the commands and it worked perfect. My apologies... 1
@leo2gz: It would be better to post your "resolved!!! ..." text as a comment to your own question and not as a new answer to qour original question, because this FAQ-Page is not styled like a forum with a chronological order of all postings, but a system to have one question and a hand full of answers that can be voted and then even sorted by votes.
