Question is too general. OSM is vast, multi-layered, decentralized. Please narrow your question down.

What all of them? Given your other question is this one: [ https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/67750/why-do-some-members-get-suspended ] and that you're (apparently) newly registered here, I'm guessing that you've had some kind of issue. Perhaps if you could clarify? You'll find this a positive and helpful community if you're respectful and positive....

About mapping, you should read the good practices wiki.

There are other guidelines for imports, automated edits, organized editing, etc., in case you will be involved in such activities.
