TYP - Polygons - Bitmaps or plain colors? Which are faster?

I am building my own map with own Style *.typ file) for Garmin EDGE gps unit.

Please let me know - what kind of Polygons are better? I mean drawing map faster when zooming map in/out ? Bitmaps or plain color?

/ I am using TYPViewer to customize file
