A local road name has changed. I edited the road using iD to change the name. When zoomed in to the level need to edit a feature the road name is shown correctly. But when zoomed out the old road name still shows. Any ideas on what I've done wrong? The road in question is at https://www.openstreetmap.org/edit?editor=id#map=16/48.6274/-122.9451. The old name is Bob Schoen Rd and the new name is Clam Harbor Rd.

You did it right. Map tiles on openstreetmap.com may take some time to catch up with the new data, just wait and refresh your browser, you should already see the new name.

Thanks. That's a relief. I'm still kind of new to this and was afraid I'd missed something.
