OSM Data File into Qt

Hi! So i downloaded an OSM Data File for a certain location. But I'm having trouble on how to import this data into Qt Creator so that I can use it for my program. Any resources would be extremely helpful. Of course, I have tried searching too but I just have no idea on where to start or on even what to do.

tell us a bit more. What do you plan to do with the "OSM data file". Where did you get this file from? Do you need to use Qt creator or would alternatives be fine, too?
