Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Hello everyone,

a bit ago, I encountered a navigation problem using Maps.me. The navigation kept avoiding one road by car, so I looked into the road and saw that motorised vehicles were wrongly forbidden. I reseted the properties to allow cars, and tried navigating directly on OSM (Example). However, the road keeps avoiding cars.

Does anyone know why? Does OSM's navigation tool take some time to update?

Thank you very much in advance!

The navigation tool on OpenStreetMap is provided by third parties. As with all navigation software they use a database that takes awhile to update. So don't be surpriced it takes a couple of days before the new route is taken into account. Right now it looks like rout via Graphhopper this for me

Thank you for your quick answer. I'm new in OSM and didn't know that navigation is provided by a third party that did not actualise the database immediately, but that makes sense. :)
