Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Hi All,

I see the https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/5801624 complete and neat attribute. But the OSM format (download) administrative boundary for RW (level 9, Indonesia) administrative boundaries in DKI Jakarta province is incomplete and many are empty and untidy.

How can I get vector maps with complete and neat attribution data such as the online version of https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/5801624?

First of all, I think it is unlikely that the relation you point to is correct; it is likely that the boundary should be running along Jalan Komplek Hankam and include buildings like https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/505458306 which are currently part of RW02. But that's the view of an outsider with little knowledge of Jakarta.

In general, data in OSM varies in level of detail. You can have adminlevel 9 boundaries in one place, and another place goes down to adminlevel 4 only. Just because there are some RW boundaries in Jakarta, doesn't mean they are there all over the country. We just have the data people took the time to add.

The boundary you are looking at has been added by a user called "Importer2015" and they quoted this as their source: "Official Jakarta Disaster Management Agency". Perhaps similar agencies exist in the rest of the country - you'll have to find out!
