Hi,

late last night I asked a question, received some comments, one of which I actually regard as an answer - I'm satisfied.

However, as "scai" made just a comment, the Answer Count is "0", so the Tick icon below the ThumsUp/ThumbsDown icons isn't there.

What way is there for me to close this question?

Regards, Jochen

Edit: Long live TYPOS! When I corrected one, at last I noticed the faint grey word "Close" right beside "Edit". Hope this will help some other "blind" person.

This would of course be neat; but can >I< do that when someone comments on my question? Could I promote YOUR comment to an anser?

Moderators (for example myself) can definitely do it, so you just need to ask.

The way to do it is to promote the correct comment to an answer. If the comment has been edited this is not possible due to a bug.
