Hi, late last night I asked a question, received some comments, one of which I actually regard as an answer - I'm satisfied. However, as "scai" made just a comment, the Answer Count is "0", so the Tick icon below the ThumsUp/ThumbsDown icons isn't there. What way is there for me to close this question? Regards, Jochen Edit: Long live TYPOS! When I corrected one, at last I noticed the faint grey word "Close" right beside "Edit". Hope this will help some other "blind" person. asked 03 Aug '18, 12:04 Marabu_Too SimonPoole ♦ |

The way to do it is to promote the correct comment to an answer. If the comment has been edited this is not possible due to a bug. answered 03 Aug '18, 12:09 SimonPoole ♦ |
This would of course be neat; but can >I< do that when someone comments on my question? Could I promote YOUR comment to an anser?
Moderators (for example myself) can definitely do it, so you just need to ask.
Hi, Simon, thanks for the info.
So: woukd you please close THIS question? Thanks again!
