Okay I'm a 15 minute newb. I just downloaded an app that uses this map for GPS directions (NavFree) and it SUCKS at giving directions to my work (takes you probably 10 kms out of your way). I have no idea why it refuses to take one bridge over the other (telling me to make u-turns all across the bridge). anyway i thought maybe I could create my own route here and then the app would pick it up and at least make some sense.

Am I totally off on how to do this? Sorry if this is a super annoying newbie question.

Where is this bridge located? Can you navigate to it on the OSM web viewer, and then right-click on "permanent link" at the bottom right, copy the link and post it here?

Go to this link and try to make a route through it. If you can't, maybe it is drawn incorrectly. Tell us where it is so we can correct it.

Janjiko, good idea --FWIW there is also http://www.yournavigation.org/ (yours seems a bit faster though?)

Other than that the OP seems to have vanished so I probably won't come back to this question...
