How can I download GPX files in a region?

0	There are a lot of GPS traces on the website. I can download them from https://www.openstreetmap.org/traces, but how can I download these files in a specific region, for example download all GPX files in China? download trace asked 26 Jul '18, 11:40 applefl 31●2●2●4 accept rate: 0%

One Answer:

The simple answer is you can't.

What you can do is download data for small areas via the OSM API, see: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/API_v0.6#GPS_traces I believe JOSM is the only popular editor that supports this currently.
