Hi Guys, I am also Having the same problem. I am new to openstreet maps. I want to know nominatim service is reliable for production.

@Sajithv If your business depends on it then either install your own Nominatim instance, contact one of the third-party providers or drop some money at the OSMF to get more/better servers.

Short answer: no.

Currently some OSM servers are moved from London to Amsterdam. The API and possible other servers run on backup hardware until the primary servers are up again. This will degrade performance and can also lead to sporadic problems. See https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2018-July/081009.html . Now I think Server Is running. But It is not reliable.

OpenStreetMap is a volunteer-run organisation and does not guarantee reliability. If you are running commercial services off an OSM API such as Nominatim, you should either set up your own server using OSM, or use a third-party provider built on OSM data.
