I've noticed that highway route numbers in Turkmenistan are often either missing completely in OSM or are mapped incorrectly. Is there a particular protocol to follow for correcting them, or should I simply dive in and start correcting them based on my knowledge of the highway system here? |

Hi, might I ask what the reference of your knowledge is? Is there any law or documentation by the Turkmen government or Parliament that specify (or reaffirm soviet-era) numbers? (similar to this document in neighbouring Uzbekistan: https://lex.uz/docs/-1664887 ) Or would you simply follow Soviet-era numbering, assuming that it hasn't changed? |
