Is there any offline Android app that shows all the map details you see by default on the OpenStreetMaps website? I've tried OsmAnd and Maps.me so far but their maps are not as detailed.

I'm specifically looking at the Balkans mountains, e.g. the area north of the village of Dobërdol in Albania. Just going there on the website shows all the little trails in red/white dots, but the apps don't show those, just the main trails.

In my experience OsmAnd is even more detailed than the renderings available via openstreetmap.org. Did you zoom in enough? Did you enable "configure map" -> "details" -> "more details"?

Yes. The footways (red dotted tracks on the web site) are simply not there. I'm guessing it's to save data, but what's the point of a hiking app if it's going to hide the details?

Careful with the assumptions. Some of those paths were only added 19 days ago. Are you sure that your data download for OsmAnd or Maps.me reflects this latest data? Different providers take updates from OSM's central database on their own schedules.

Some of the paths are too new to be in the June Albania Osmand update, such as this one. Try again once you've installed the July update.

Thanks all, you're right, all the stuff I'm missing was added just after the last map update (I just learned how to check that).
