I'm tempted to simply delete this ghost town. Any opinions?

I'd map this as place=locality if there are supporting details e.g. that's in the (US) public domain.

Yes, I read the changeset comment. Since the town no longer exists, it would now be considered to be a ghost town :)

I would leave it as it is. It is of interest to users that like historic data, It doesn't mess up the standard map. There is probably a lot of data that some of us don't like but I wouldn't be happy if other mappers deleted stuff i had surveyed and researched just because they did think it was useful to them. There are a lot of books in the library i wouldn't want to read, but i wouldn't want to burn them :)

It's not a question of me not liking it. I'm fine with the concept, but it's popping up as an error via OSM Inspector. There is no feature tag associated with the area. A feature tag is a minimum requirement :)
