Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

It looks to me search options here are very(!) limited. I searched already for a while...

The FAQ would be a good place for that info, but I only find "You can search existing questions by their title or tags."

  • Example 1: I am only interested in questions with tag 'ideditor'. I like to find those with "relation" in title. How can I find those?
  • Example 2: I like to find all questions tagged with 'ideditor' and 'relation'. How can I find those?
  • Example 3: When I search questions by title with 'ideditor relation' then I would like to sort or filter the 1927 hits. I don't see how I could do this. Any hints?

Or can someone confirm that such search is not possible here? So I have to revert to google to search here?

Thanks + regards

The system that runs help.openstreetmap.org, OSQA, does not offer combined searches like the one you are looking for, and the software project is largely abandoned. Therefore, we're seeking volunteers to move this to a more modern, feature-rich, and maintained platform: https://github.com/openstreetmap/operations/issues/149

You may well be already aware, but for those who aren't, you can just use your favourite web search engine's site text search, something like:

"relation" "ideditor" site:help.openstreetmap.org/

which translates (for me) as https://duckduckgo.com/html?q=%22relation%22%20%22ideditor%22%20site%3Ahelp.openstreetmap.org%2F
