I am trying to customise a TYP file. I have had great success getting what I need to be visible the way I want it.

But I see areas on the generic OSM (which don't have TYP files) named as Woods, State Forests and Wetlands. They are each shaded with horizontal lines by default.

I'd like to have these in my TYP file too but I cannot work out what type ID they are. Can someone point me in the direction of a list of default type IDs used in the generic map output? So I can create a polygon shade id in TYPWiz.

thanks Alan

@alanmcd: that question is about Garmin, right? I have added that tag.

This Q and A is more about OSM mapping and data. You might find, or have more success asking in the forum, linked below, where they have a section on Garmin Maps and GPSes. https://forum.openstreetmap.org/index.php
