How to extract a building footprint height values of all buildings in Chennai, India. asked 06 Feb '18, 09:43 Prashanth Esri edited 08 Feb '18, 23:14 aseerel4c26 ♦ |
One Answer:
I'd be rather surprised if we have any building height there. This query, which would be a suitable way to acquire height data, suggests that there aren't any mapped heights: http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/vU2. answered 06 Feb '18, 13:26 SK53 ♦ showing 5 of 6 show 1 more comments |
However there are a few "building:levels" mapped which can serve as a rough indicator for building heights: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/vWt
Any one of you found height for buildings in Chennai?
@vigran09: please click on the overpass-turbo links provided above and click "run". That's what is in the OSM database.
(by the way: I have converted your question from an "answer" into a "comment".)
Yea i saw that. It has only few height data. Is there any other way to find the building heights in anna nagar?? Any other map providers?
Not from OpenStreetMap anyway.
Thanks for the reply. If you come to know about it post it here. I will do the same.
