In the north-east corner of the Mediterranean Sea I stumbled over a strange loose way here, https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=11/36.6580/35.6053 They are only visible in edit mode in JOSM & P2. They cross the Turkish borderline west of the Nature Park up and down and don’t seem to be connected to anything. What’s to do or what’s the meaning of it ?

What's the ID of the way? If you click on it in an editor you should be able to see it there.

Correct scai, all loose ends and incomplete. Old remains or a new project ?

It's the outline of of where Bing had high-res imagery at some point in the dim and distant past. You could argue that it never belonged in OSM in the first place, and it certainly doesn't now when there are many more imagery options.

If I stumble over it again II will delete some of it, the whole Turkish region is rather large.

They were convenient for keeping track of where we had decent imagery at all (seemingly random strips here and there), but they became outdated years ago and no longer serve any purpose. Feel free to kill at sight.
