I uploaded conservation boundary polygons for my town to OSM and when they were rendered i realized some polygons had some errors. How do i get it deleted from OSM database so that i can upload the corrected ? |

There is a ‘reverter’ plugin for Josm http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/JOSM/Plugins/Reverter You just enter the number of the latest changeset first and work back through the changesets until you get back to the state you want. You upload the changes. It can be difficult if someone else has done some editing of those things since you and the conflicts then need to be sorted out. The documentation mentions that if this seems complex and you are not confident then you can ask the Data Working Group to assist. |

Don't worry. everyone makes mistakes. Rather than delete and reupload, why not just fix the bad polygons? They are large polygons and JOSM can only download a small section to be edited. I wanted to do the corrections in QGIS and then to convert .shp to .osm and then to upload. If the uploaded polygons in OSM database can be deleted so that i re-upload afresh it would be easier for me

JOSM can download specific objects via file -> download object. Alternatively just download a small area that contains parts of the boundary relation, select the relation and in the relation window make a right click and choose "download members".
