It used to be possible, on the main site, to right click on the map, and select This was very handy, though I understand that it could place excess load on the servers if overused. It has not been possible to do this since early 2017 or late 2016, around the time the nice java-script right click menu appeared ( If it's not an option, is there another way to mark tiles as dirty? |

The library used to show the map on osm.org, Leaflet, made a change that hides the tiles from the context menu. Firefox has a "Page Info" dialog that includes a media info tab that provides a decent user interface for determining the URL of a tile. Control+i brings it up. I don't know why you got downvoted, this seems to work.

Yes, it's less handy than the previous method but it works. Here Control-i does not work. You need to go to the Tools menu (or shift+right-clicking on the map).
